Woods Light Brown
Has an ‘antique’ finish roughly equivalent to the leather version of ‘stone washed’ denim. Informal. Casual.
Woods Gingerbread
Has an ‘antique’ finish roughly equivalent to the leather version of ‘stone washed’ denim. Casual. Informal. And with a softer (more flexible) handle. Floppy. Funky.
Woods Brandy
Smoother. More formal.
Dark Brown Calf
Very strong. Smart. It is unusual to get calf skin made to satchel thickness. Limited supply. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
Dark Brown Latigo
From horween.com. The best satchel leather I have ever worked with. Smart. ‘Lifetime’ quality. But very expensive (sorry) so it carries a £30 surcharge. If you want the best I can do then it will be money well spent in the long term.
